CALLUS - CORN
CALLUS - CORN

Calluses are usually localized skin thickening due to repeated traumas such as friction and impact in the pressure areas on the bony protrusions exposed to trauma. Especially the foot of the fifth finger is the typical side of the lateral edge of the foot but is often seen on the sole of the foot. Even touching on it will increase pain. It negatively affects one's work and social life.

The underlying mechanical cause must be eliminated. In order to protect itself from trauma, thickened skin can be used for thinning solutions, cryotherapy, cauterization and laser treatments and surgical excision can be performed in required cases.
